The Vancouver Aquarium hosts Sensory Friendly hours to welcome neurodiverse individuals, their families and caregivers the opportunity to enjoy the Aquarium. Light and audio levels will be reduced around the aquarium during Sensory Friendly Hours from 9:30am to 12pm.
The Vancouver Aquarium is happy to partner with local organizations that support those who are neurodivergent, including Pacific Autism Family Network and Canucks Autism Network.
We also have comfort kits that can be taken out free of charge from the Guest Services Desk, including noise-blocking ear protectors, fidget toys, instructive cue cards and a photographic activity guide.
We are committed to providing all of our visitors, including those who are neurodiverse, the opportunity to connect with the incredible at the Vancouver Aquarium. Come visit the 65,000 animals and over 120 world-class exhibits during our Sensory Friendly Hours!
You can purchase your tickets online and skip the line. Guests with a disability, who purchase a full-price ticket, can invite a personal care attendant to join them for free, to help facilitate their visit. We also accept the Access2 card.
